Giant inflatable art takes over Croydon this Bank Holiday weekend
Get ready to look up, explore and expect the unexpected!
From 27th – 31st August, Croydon town centre will be transformed into a surreal open-air gallery as seven gigantic inflatable artworks pop up in unexpected locations across the town.
Created by renowned artist duo Filthy Luker and their inflatable design studio Designs in Air, the free art trail invites visitors of all ages to explore Croydon in a completely different way.
Keep an eye out for giant tentacles, supersized sunflowers, colourful fish and the biggest paintbrush you’ve ever seen!
Find the Unexpected at Centrale & Whitgift
We’re excited to be part of the trail, with two larger-than-life installations located right here at Centrale & Whitgift:
🎨 Giant Paintbrush – inside Centrale Shopping Centre
🐟 Giant Fishes – outside Whitgift
The installations will also be illuminated after dark, offering another opportunity to experience the trail during an evening stroll.
