BRIT School dancers bring a burst of summer to Croydon

Croydon was given an unexpected taste of summer as 50 talented performers from The BRIT School brought colour, music and movement to North End to celebrate the return of Costa Del Croydon.

On Friday 17 July, dancers from the renowned performing arts and creative industries school took over the town centre for a series of high-energy performances, transforming North End into a surprise summer spectacle.

Visitors were treated to energetic choreography, feel-good music and plenty of summer vibes as the performers brought the spirit of Costa Del Croydon to life ahead of the event’s return. The performances created a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of Croydon, with shoppers and visitors stopping to watch, take photos and enjoy the unexpected burst of summer.

Known for nurturing some of the country’s most celebrated creative talent, The BRIT School has helped shape the future of the UK’s cultural scene. Its alumni include RAYE, Olivia Dean, Loyle Carner, FKA twigs and Tom Holland, with former students collectively selling more than 280 million albums, generating over 70 billion streams and winning prestigious awards including BRITs, Grammys, BAFTAs and Oscars.

The activation was brought to North End in partnership with Centrale & Whitgift.
