Give your clothes a second life – and make a difference!

Got clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, or accessories you no longer wear? Bring them along to Centrale! You’ll find our textile bank on the ground floor, opposite Superdrug.

By donating to TRAID, you’ll be helping to:

  • Reduce waste and protect the planet
  • Support the people who make your clothes
  • Give fashion a fairer, more sustainable future

TRAID is a UK charity retailer (Reg. No. 297489) working to transform the way we think about fashion. We collect, sort, and sell quality second-hand clothing in our London shops – giving garments a new lease of life and keeping them out of landfill.

Beyond the UK, we fund organic cotton farming and back initiatives that support garment workers worldwide. Everywhere we work, we’re pushing for a fashion industry that’s good for people and the planet.

Every donation makes a difference – turning clothes into resources that create social, environmental, and economic benefits.

Art Meets Action

The artwork surrounding and displayed on the textile bank has been specially created by Stanley Arts, reflecting our shared commitment to protecting the environment and inspiring community action.

Stanley Arts & the Climate Emergency

At Stanley Arts, we know protecting the environment is vital for the health of our planet and our communities. That’s why we use our platform as a multi-disciplinary arts centre to spark conversation and inspire action on the climate and nature crisis.

Through projects and partnerships, we support artists to create powerful work that raises awareness and highlights solutions.

This artwork by Croydon-based illustrator Skye Baker was commissioned for our Arcadia Festival – a celebration of community creativity and climate action.

The festival brought together 75 young people and partners including Croydon Youth Theatre Organisation (CYTO), Birdgang Ltd., Croydon Youth Assembly (CYA), Boundless Theatre and Syrus Consultancy CIC. Through dance, theatre, music, film, immersive installations and interactive games, they imagined a future where people and nature thrive together.

Arcadia was made possible with funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
