Lives Not Knives

Lives Not Knives opened at Centrale in November 2013. Their focus is to offer resources to help young people who aren’t in education, employment or training.

Eliza, the 21 year founder, is keen to help young entrepreneurs – ÒIf there aren’t jobs out there for people, let’s create themÓ. LNK have partnered with Lloyds Bank, who will provide interview skills and business advice to young people.

The team are hosting try before you buy workshops for business’ to run. As well various mentoring programmes and workshops featuring guest speakers plus apprenticeships in retail, security and public services. The charity also focuses on a back to work programme, training and interview days, corporate skill sharing days and homework clubs.
