1st – 25th October
In celebration of Black History month, the exhibition showcases over 100 works from emerging artists across Centrale & Whitgift, Westfield London and Westfield Stratford; the majority of whom are of Black African and Caribbean heritage, alongside from Asian, Far Eastern and European backgrounds; enriching the community while platforming the creativity and talent of these diverse voices.
This year’s exhibition embodies the theme “Standing Firm in Power and Pride” showing the distinctive and culturally resonant creativity of these artists.
The Exhibition will appear on digital screens throughout the centre, you can also see the 13 Croydon Artist’s works below (insert images)
At Centrale & Whitgift, the programme will also be brought to life through two special events: a Black traders marketing on 11th October and a stage show on 25th October.
The event series offers visitors a dynamic and engaging way to experience the exhibition.
